Origami Owl® Starter Kit

In choosing an Origami Owl® Starter Kit you want to get the most out of your investment. The best advice I can give you is to choose the kit that you can comfortably afford. If you feel comfortable putting $399 into your business I would suggest going for it! Think of it this way… As a designer when you buy products for inventory you pay a wholesale price of 50-70% of the full retail, or a 30-50% discount. Each of these kits is at an even greater discount… The larger kit (10 person party package) is more than 60% off ($1,000+ value for $399)! And the smaller kit (business basics package) is more than 50% off ($325+ value for $149). With that being said the larger kit is a bigger “bang for your buck” and you’ll get more out of your investment.

Personally, had I had a choice when I started July 2013, I would have chosen the larger kit. My thought process behind that was I wanted to wear a locket and with only 4 in the Starter Kit I that would only leave me 3 on my jewelry bar. I also planned on adding to the Starter Kit anyway so it made more sense to just start out spending the extra rather than a little here a little there. Another thing to consider is by the time you have a second party you most likely will have earned back your initial investment. 

More recently with the start of this larger kit in place I never hear “I wish I would have went with the smaller kit” it’s usually the opposite “I wish I would have gotten the larger kit”. You can be successful either way. I have seen many leaders in Origami Owl begin with the Starter Kit and be wildly successful. We are very lucky that Origami Owl gives us these options.

Origami Owl Mother's Day Reveal

Who is excited to celebrate Mother's Day with the greatest mom in the World?? I know that I certainly am. My mom means the world to me and that is why I am so happy that Origami Owl has dedicated an entire line to Celebrate the wonderful women in our lives. Soar to Success with me and Origami Owl®

Origami Owls® New Soar to Success Launches for New Designers

Origami Owl® has come up with yet another awesome way to encourage their new designers to be successful, it's called the Soar to Success program! What Origami Owl created was a three month incentive program for NEW Designers which can help you earn over $500 worth of free product during your first 90 day period with the company. Soar to Success is a way for Origami Owl to help their new designers be successful. I can't wait to help you complete this program and earn this free product!

The average sales for an Origami Owl Jewelry Bar is $600. If a new Designer holds just one Jewelry Bar per month for the first three months, they could earn over $100 in free product each month which can help them add to their inventory and create additional sales. One of my main responsibilities as a mentor is to assist you with creating that fantastic launch party where you tell your friends and family all about your new business.  In addition, I can help you share the Origami Owl opportunity with others. SOAR TO SUCCESS FAQ'S

Q. How long will the Soar to Success Program run?
A. There is no end date for the Soar to Success Program. It is a permanent program designed to
help all new Designers with a start date of April 1st or later through their first 90 days with Origami Owl®.

Q. I joined in March 31st, 2014. Does this mean I can’t participate in the Soar to Success
Program?
A. All new Designers with a start date of March 1 - 31 , 2014, will be eligible for the Soar to Success program and their start date (day 1) will be April 1, 2014.

Q. What rewards can a new Designer earn when they reach their personal sales goal in the
first 90 days?
A. When a Designer reaches their 30, 60 and 90 day personal sales goals they will earn exciting rewards that will help to enhance their Jewelry Bar® display.*
• Level 1 (days 1-30) – 20 assorted Charms
• Level 2 (days 31 – 60) – Silver Chain, Large Silver Locket with Crystals & a Heart Birthstone pack
• Level 3 (days 61-90) – Small Linen Bust, Large Linen Bust and $100 O2 Gift Certificate (to be used toward jewelry only)
*All prizes are subject to change or substitution without notice.

Q. What rewards can be earned for sponsoring in the first 90 days of being a Designer?
A. Sponsoring up to three new Designers in the first 90 days will earn new Designers fabulous
business tools to help them build their business.
• Business Reward 1 – Weekender Bag
• Business Reward 2 – 2 Linen Trays, Aqua Business Card Holder and O2 Calculator
• Business Reward 3 – O2 Tablecloth and Toiletry Bag
To qualify for Share the O2 Love Business Rewards, the Designer must earn $500 PV each consecutive 30 day period in their first 90 days.
*All prizes are subject to change or substitution without notice. One of each Business Reward per designer can be earned.

Q. Who is eligible to participate in the Soar to Success Program?
A. All new Designers with a start date of April 1, 2014 or later, are eligible for the Soar to Success program.

Q. What is Personal Volume (PV) and what orders count towards it?
A. PV is what the Designer pays for O2 products, not the retail price. It does not include business materials or Hostess products.

Q. What does “Qualified Designer” mean?
A. To be considered qualified, a new Designer must achieve $500 in PV within their first 30 day period. Any PV accumulated on the day of enrollment contributes to PV requirement for Level One (Days 1-30) of program, excluding the price of a Business Package.

Q. What are the requirements to earn Level 1?
A. A New Designer earns Level 1 when they achieve $500 in PV within their first 30 day period.

Q. What are the requirements to earn Level 2?
A. When a new Designer who has already achieved Level 1 earns an additional $500 PV in days 31-60 they qualify for the Level 2 reward.

Q. What are the requirements to earn Level 3?
A. Designers earn Level 3 if they have previously earned Levels 1 & 2, and achieve $500 in PV within day 61-90.

Q. If a new Designer does not achieve $500 in PV within Days 1-30 (Level 1), but achieves
$500 in Days 31-60 (Level 2) can they earn their Level 2 reward?
A. No. If a Designer does not achieve $500 PV within Days 1-30 (Period 1), they are not eligible to earn any other rewards in the Soar to Success Program. If $500 PV is not earned in days 31-60 the Designer cannot earn any further Share the O2 Love Business Rewards.

Q. If a Designer achieves $200 PV within Days 1-30 (Level 1) and then $300 PV within Days 31-60 (Level 2), can they earn a Level 2 reward?
A. No, a minimum of $500 PV must be achieved consecutively, in each 30-Day period. PV from one 30-day period does not count toward the PV in the next 30-day period. If 500 PV is not earned in days 31-60 the Designer cannot earn any further Share the O2 Love Business Rewards.

Q. When does a Designer’s day one begin?
A. A new Designers’ day 1 of Soar to Success is the day after they enroll.
 For example: Designer enrolls April 1st, their Day 1 begins on April 2nd. Any PV accumulated on actual start date will count toward PV requirement for Days 1-30 (Level 1).

Q. What is a Share the O2 Love Business Reward?
A. During a new Designer’s first 90 days, they will earn extra rewards for sponsoring their first 3
Personally Enrolled, new qualified Designers.

Q. What does “Personally Enrolled” mean?
A. “Personally Enrolled” refers to how the new Designer was enrolled. Those who are enrolled directly by a Mentor are considered Personally Enrolled.

Q. What are the requirements needed to earn the Share the O2 Love Business Rewards?
1. The new Designer must achieve $500 PV in Days 1-30 (Level 1)
2. The new Designer sponsors another Designer who becomes qualified with $500 in PV in their Days 1 – 30 (Level 1)

Q. Can a new Designer sponsor more than one new Designer in a 30-day period?
A. Of course! A new Designer may sponsor more than one new Designer in a 30-Day period,
however, only one Share The O2 Love Business Reward will be issued per period regardless of
which period the new qualified Designer enrolled under the enrolling Designer, unless all three are sponsored in the new Designer’s last 30-Day period. Then, the new Designer will receive all three Share the O2 Love Business Rewards.
• Example, if Mary, a new Designer is qualified with $500 PV in Days 1-30 and enrolls 3 new Designers in her first period of the program and all 3 new Designers qualify with $500 PV, only one Share The O2 Love Business Reward will be awarded. If Mary then meets her PV requirement for the second period of the program, the second Share The O2 Love Business Reward is awarded and so
on for the third period.

Q. Does a sponsoring Designer have to sponsor monthly to earn the Share the O2 Love Rewards?
A. No, but they need to earn the Soar to Success ($500 PV) at each Level to remain active in the program.

Q. If a new Designer “Mary” sponsors three new Designers, but Mary only reaches $500 PV in
Days 1-30, and then $500 in Days 31-60 but doesn’t achieve $500 PV in days 61-90, will she
still earn all three Share the O2 Love Sponsoring Rewards?
A. No, since Mary only earned two $500 PV periods then she will only earn rewards for two of the qualified Designers she sponsored.

Q. If a new Designer achieves $500 PV in all three periods, but does not sponsor anyone until their third period (day 61-90) can they receive their Share the O2 Love Business Reward?
A. Yes, as long as the sponsored new Designer becomes qualified, they would receive their Share the O2 Love Business Reward 1.

Q. What period does a newly sponsored qualified Designer count toward?
A. A newly sponsored Designer counts toward the 30-day period that they were enrolled in, not
the 30-day period that they became qualified.
For example: If Mary enrolls on April 1st she would be in her first period. If Mary then sponsors Susan on April 15th, and Susan meets her $500 PV requirement on May 10th, then Susan would count toward Mary’s day 1-30 period, even though Mary is now in Level 2 of Soar to Success. Because Susan enrolled under Mary while Mary was still in her Day 1-30 period.

Q. If a new Designer achieves $500 PV in Days 1-30 (Level 1), but misses $500 PV in Days 31-
60 (Level 2) can they achieve $500 PV in their third period and still qualify for Soar to
Success rewards?
A. No, once the requirement for any period is not met the new Designer is no longer eligible for
any future Soar to Success or Share the O2 Love Business Rewards.

Q. When will I receive the products earned?
A. A Designer must be in good standing( with the policies & procedures) and achieve each goal.
Their reward will be shipped after the 15th of the next month. Signature will be required at
time of delivery.

Q. Are there any tools available to help me better understand the Soar to Success program, or
to train my team with?
A. Absolutely! We have a video available in your Back Office to guide you through the details of
the program. Please contact your Mentor if you need further training on the program.

Q. How can I track my PV during my first 90 days?
A. When you log into your Back office you will be able to see where you are for your $500PV
goal and your Share the O2 Love sponsoring goals.

Origami Owl® Designer Commissions


Origami Owl® Commissions

We are very lucky to work for such a generous company.  Origami Owl® has a great commission plan set up for us as designers.

Right from the start you earn 50% on all Charms, Stamped Plates and Dangles. We earn 30% on all other jewelry, like Lockets, Chains, Tags, Earrings, Window Plates.


As an Origami Owl® Independent Designer there are a few ways to earn your commission.

One of the most common ways is through your jewelry bars. After you submit and close out your jewelry bar you will be paid on that parties commission the following Friday. Of course this will depend on the closing date. Our commissions are deposited on our PayQuicker card. We get a commission payment every Friday if we are owed one. You will also receive a 1099 at the end of the year with all of your commissions on it.


Another way we receive commission is if we sell from our tables or as we often call it Make and Takes. You would go and order all your jewelry at the wholesale price and sell it to your customers at the retail price. When you do this you get the commission that the Nest (home office) would have paid you in your pocket that day. You basically walk away with the commission. How ever something to note about doing this is you will not receive a 1099 from the Nest if you take your commission up front. You would be responsible for keeping track of your commissions and reporting them.


If someone orders through your replicated website or you place retail orders for customers in your back office, you will earn a weekly commission that will be paid to your PayQuicker account.

Team Overrides (Commissions earned from your Team (those you sign up under you) are paid MONTHLY, on the 10th the following month.
